I started Free Enterprise because I was tired of seeing Ghanaian businesses - brilliant products, passionate founders - held back by websites that were either non-existent, embarrassing, or technically broken.
Every site I build is mobile-first, because most of your visitors are on a phone. Every site has proper SEO from day one, because a website no one finds is a waste of money. And every site is yours completely on delivery - no subscriptions to me, no lock-in, no dependency.

Can't I just use Wix or an AI website builder?
You can - and for some businesses that's genuinely the right call. But Wix and AI builders give you a template. We build a system: proper SEO from day one, Paystack for MoMo and card payments, a CMS your team can update, Google Analytics tracking what matters, and a site that loads fast on Ghanaian mobile internet. The businesses that come to us usually tried the DIY route first and realised the gap.
How does payment work - do I pay everything upfront?
No. We split it 50/50 - half before we start, half when the site is ready to launch. You never pay the second half until you're satisfied. We accept MTN Mobile Money and bank transfer. No payment happens through the website - we confirm details directly via email or WhatsApp.
How long does it actually take?
Starter: 10-14 days. Growth: 18-21 days. Pro: 28-35 days. The clock starts from when we receive your deposit AND your content (photos, text, logo). The most common delay is clients taking time to gather content - we send you a detailed brief to make that easy.
Do I own the website when it's done?
Completely. The code is yours, the domain is yours, the hosting account is yours. We hand over every login and credential on delivery. There is no subscription to Free Enterprise, no monthly fee, no dependency on us continuing to exist. The only recurring costs are your domain renewal (~GHc 164/yr) and hosting (~GHc 393-524/yr), which you pay directly to the providers.
Can my team update the website ourselves after launch?
Yes - every Growth and Pro package includes CMS. It's a simple dashboard where you can add blog posts, update program descriptions, change team member photos, and update impact statistics without touching any code. We walk you through it before handover.
I'm outside Ghana - can you still build for me?
Absolutely. We work remotely with clients anywhere. Communication is via WhatsApp and email. Payment can be arranged in USD or GBP for international clients. Many of our NGO clients have diaspora supporters in the UK, US, and Europe - we build payment systems that accept international cards and PayPal as well as local MoMo.
